U S Air Force Museum - Dayton, OH

We have been to the Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio once a year for at least the last five years  so...I'm not going to post pictures of any airplanes here.  Previous post contain hundreds of such pictures.  I love airplanes and cars.  Today, we are going to walk around the Memorial Park.

I'm not going to comment on most of the pictures as they are self explanatory.

I will say that we saw men from age about 20's on up to 90's staring at various monuments and crying.

That's the main building down there - that's where most of the airplanes are.

When you have worked on or flew a particular airplane model for years, there are many memories associated with that airplane model.

For two years, I was in the 57th Fighter Interceptor Group, 65th Fighter Interceptor Squadron.

"We who came home"......

Tippy was impressed.

That's all - Sorry if it was boring -

Tomorrow, we go to the Cord/Duesenberg automobile museum in Auburn, Indiana
