Kayaks on Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving Day temperature was in the mid 70's - Pretty nice day on Cedar Key.
This in the campground club house where the Thanksgiving dinner was served. Note the cool retractable awning. Treky says, "Humhp, I've got an awning too and mine is power driven." Treky likes to brag.
Inside the club house on the right is where the turkey and ham are served.. In the center is the vegetables.
The desert table. By the time, everyone had brought their contribution, this table was overflowing and another table had to be added. So much good food.
Beautiful afternoon on Thanksgiving day.
Tippy getting her last look at Cedar Key (until next year - We have made reservations for 2017). Treky loves to have his rear doors open so that Tippy can look out and we can get fresh air in without bugs.
We have so much to be thankful for. We have friends who care for us and who constantly check on our well being. Imagine - I'm 86 years old - a widower - Tippy is six years old and she is a rescue dog - Treky is only two years old but he has the personality of an older man. Treky is a Roadtrek motor home van and he is our home for 190 days a year.
So far, this year, we have driven over 38,000 wonderful happy miles. There is so much to see in our world yet to come. We are filling up our schedule for next year. In January, we will be in Orlando, Florida for a rally. In March, we go to Chandler, Arizona - In May, we have reservations for Branson, Missouri and we have paid reservations for next (2017) Thanksgiving week in Cedar Key. We will fill up our calendar soon - something every week and month.
So much happiness !!!!
Thank you for riding with us.
Ron, Tippy and Treky
