Huntington Beach State Park, SC

We had a team meeting this morning trying to decide where to travel to this day.  Treky looked up to the sky and said, "Look, there's an arrow pointing East.  Maybe that's a sign.  Let's go East."

One of our favorite camping spots is Huntington Beach State Park, South Carolina.  This is the headquarters building where we check in.

As usual, Tippy and Treky patiently wait while I sign us in and get a campsite.  I get a 35% discount as I am over 65 and am a South Carolina resident.  See Treky?

Huntington Beach has a beautiful campground with old Oak trees and paved roads around to each campsite.  We got site # 78 on loop 2.

This is the view from Treky's rear windows.  Magnificent Oak trees touching the ground.

This is the entrance to the walking path to the beach.

There is nothing man made about this path to the beach.  All natural is one thing we like about it here.

Tippy is a little leery about what might be lurking in those bushes but she's game (as long as I'm with her).

Tippy: "Maybe we should stop and think about this before we go deeper into these woods."

All natural nature on this path.

Tomorrow we will post our visit to the beach itself.

Ron, Tippy and Treky
