The KOA at Flatwoods, West Virginia is located high on a mountain behind the Days Inn Motel. You have to check in for the KOA at the Days Inn registration desk.
Tippy-Too checked it out and OK'ed the campground so we could register.
Treky selected a nice site near the restrooms and showers. It had rained hard and everything was flooded. Having a concrete patio adjacent to Treky's site helped but we all got muddy.
The restroom/shower/recreation building was a short walk from our site.
The mountain went straight up on both sides of Treky's site.
Tippy-Too and I walked around the campground. It's still very early spring here in the mountains of West Virginia.
There is a children's playground area. Tippy-Too not allowed.
I like this scene - I have always liked roads of any kind.
Tippy-Too likes to roll in the grass and scratch her back.
There is this large amphitheater in the campground. We don't know what it is used for.
Next stop is Jamestown, New York on our way to Niagara Falls, Ontario. It has rained on us most of the way and campgrounds are soggy wet. We don't care - We're moving - traveling - smiling - happy - at least that's what Tippy-Too says.
