Beach Campgrounds

Many campgrounds sell propane. We have paid anywhere from $2.50 to $4.00 per gallon.  Treky uses very little.

Treky has an eight-gallon propane tank mounted in the outside storage compartment.  It is an option for our cook stove and as a source of heat for the Aldi Heating system; however, we prefer to  use electricity for both cooking and heating.  Propane is just a backup system.

This is a Florida visitor's center near the beach - Beautiful and meets Tippy's standards.

Treky like everything about Florida - especially shady visitor center parking.

Many counties and states along the Mid-Atlantic states provide piers that stretch out into the Atlantic for the benefit of fishermen.

Sand dunes minimize beach erosion.

Even though they are near the beach, many campgrounds offer swimming pools for those who don't like sun, sand, salt and wind.

More tomorrow about campgrounds and beaches.
