The vendors are all open this morning - Music starts at 1 pm. This vendor sells ladies things - scarfs, dresses, hats, tie-dyed stuff.
Speaking of tie-dyed - That's the main item in this booth. The owner says that tie-dyed reminds many 70-year olds of their youth and that she sells quite a bit of tie-dyed tees.
This man sells square-body guitars. Many are made from cigar boxes. They are real. He demonstrated one and it sounded good to me. He also has clocks, boxes and other woodwork items. Nice place for me to browse.
Speaking of Hippies - Here's one of those famous VW buses all decorated with flowers.
Here's another VW. It doesn't take much to have a good time camping. A little water, a jar of peanut butter, a loaf of bread, a good attitude and you are all set. I bet that these folks have just as good a time as the people in one of the million dollars class A motorhomes.
Look at all the different kinds of campers.
In an hour or so, this area will be packed with fiddle players - practicing - learning - enjoying.
Another group of musicians will be housed here. Tippy thinks that Ron would fit right in with the Old-Timers. Ron says that Tippy can't say too much - Tippy's 12 this year.
Tippy says, "I am getting old but today is a gift and I am enjoying it immensely. Ron and I have walked miles and miles today all throughout the campground and met many good people.
Life is so good !!
We will probably have three more posts from here. Then we will be at an RV rally in Perry, Georgia.
