Callahan, Florida

This morning, we looked up to the sky and saw this vapor trail left by an airliner.  We wonder where it is going and where it has been - That set us off.  We quickly packed Treky and took off.

First, we had to gas up.  $1.39 is not bad.  That's in South Carolina.

The temperature was 46 degrees (F) at 11:00 am.

Treky picked out a route on two-lane roads - He's not crazy about the interstate highways.

Even on the two-lane roads, there were abundant communication towers.  That's a good feeling to know that we can call for help if needed.

At lunch time, we stopped at Denny's for a salad.

Tippy and Treky waited outside.

To overnight, Treky selected Kelly's RV park in Callahan, Florida

Kelly's is a very nice park with blooming azaleas and we like the hanging Spanish Moss.

For supper, I went to downtown Callahan and ate at Cedar River Seafood.

I had the Senior portion of the fried flounder with cole slaw and apple sauce.  It was excellent.  $10.00 plus tip.

This was Tippy's portion.

Tomorrow night we expect to camp at Manatee Springs State Park near Chiefland, Florida.

Ron, Tippy and Treky
