Technical & Camping Rally

Region 5 is the Florida Region of Roadtrek International Chapter of Family Motor Coach International.  They are the sponsoring chapter of this T & C Rally in Kissimmee, Florida.

We had 27 Roadtreks present - most were couples - only about eight solos.  The table at the left was the "solos" table.  The lady in the hat in the center of the picture is 88 years old.  She served in the U S Army during WW II as a nurse and she just returned from driving her Roadtrek round trip to Alaska by herself!!
The first night we had a potluck dinner and the next two nights we had catered dinners.

The main attraction for me was Chris and Jim Guld who travel to rallies all over the US teaching "Technology for Travelers".  If you are interested in learning more about your phone, tablet or computer, Check in with them on Sunday afternoons at 2:pm at geeksontour.com.

This little "Tiki Geeky" stand is one they use at very large conventions to sign-up students.  I think it's cute.

I have been signed up with the Geeks for two years now.  Some of my favorite subjects with the Geeks are:
Uploading pictures to Google Photos app.
Facebook
Mapping Memories
Smart Phones - I-Phones and Androids

Check them out at 2:00 pm on Sunday and send for their free newsletter at GeeksOnTour.com/News

As you can see, our group brought their computers to the lessons.  The Geeks offered individual time to anyone who had a question and worked directly with our computers.

Tippy loved this campground lake until he saw this..........

Years ago, someone told Tippy that an alligator's favorite meal is Jack Russell Terriers.  He does not like to be anywhere near an alligator.

Tippy's pretty smart.  When he sees me take off my shoes, he jumps up on Treky's bed and immediately occupies my pillow.  What kind of friend is that?

See yawl in a few days,

Ron, Tippy and Treky
