We are coming down a mountain, looking down on the Peace River bridge. In a few miles, we will cross that bridge.
We saw this sign early in the morning - otherwise, we would have stopped and spent the night- sounds great.
Treky wants you to notice that there are no guard rails and the highway markings are worn away. We saw very few 18 wheeler's - the ones we did see were mainly related to repairs to the highway.
Northern Rockies - Regional Municipality - Nice!
This is the Alaska Highway - Almost no traffic, no guard rails, highway marking worn away, goes on forever and ever - - -And Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!
This is what the GPS sees today. Note that Treky's speed is 5 MPH under the speed limit. He is very careful. GPS says that we are nine miles south of Fort Nelson, BC.
We spent the night at the Bluebell Inn - a combination gas station, motel and campground - Very weak WiFi but very friendly staff.
It's still cool here at night so Tippy snuggles under the covers.
