Some of the flowers at the KOA Savannah South campground
The campground was so overbooked that people were parking in the entrance and exit driveways. Thank goodness that Treky's small size allowed us to park in the only available site. We love you Treky.
Campground swimming pool - very nice.
When Tippy and I are wandering around a campground, there is no telling what we may find. Look at this old rusty boat on the campground lake shore. Tippy thinks it may be an alligator nest.
Can you see the fisherman? He said that coming out here camping and fishing cures his headaches and eye strain. Could be. Tippy says, "It cures Ron's meanness."
I paid $2.08 for gas at a Murphy's (Walmart) in Richmond Hill, GA, off the interstate about 10 miles. I don't think that's a bad price at all.
In a couple of weeks, we'll be in Shreveport, LA living the Cajun Life for a week or so. Ride along with us via this blog. You might like the hot food.
