KOA Richmond Hill, Georgia

The KOA campground in Richmond Hill, Georgia is on U S 17 - just about a half-mile off I-95.  It is very popular and is usually full.

We were ready to pull out of the driveway this morning when Treky said, "Stop!, We have to go through my departure checklist or we're not moving".  Here it is:
1. Set GPS
2. Close roof vent
3. All windows closed
4. Wrap microwave plate in a towel
5. All cabinets closed and locked
6. Inverter on
7. Tire pressure checked

Treky's first stop after leaving home this morning was at Popeye's for a sausage biscuit and a large coffee.  As you can see, Tippy expects his share of the biscuit.  He's just 11 years old - far too young for coffee.

This is Treky's GPS - It is a Rand McNally, designed especially for RV's.  Of course, Treky, due to his size, does not require any special considerations - he's capable of navigating any road that the average car can handle.

For those who asked, this is Treky's cockpit.  You can see the GPS mounted on the center windshield.

Nice lake at the campground - The temperature is in the 90's.

There's Treky over there next to the playground.  The campground has been booked up for weeks but Treky is such a small RV, he can be squeezed in most anywhere there are hookups.

In the morning, we go to Dick Gore's RV service department.  WiFi permitting, we will tell you about his trip there.

Ron, Tippy and Treky
